Nirvana isn’t just a name—it’s an invitation to slow down, take a breath, and really taste what’s in your cup. Grown high in the hills of Nepal between 3,280 and 4,265 feet, this roast captures a country still carving out its place in the global coffee scene.
Coffee in Nepal is still young. It’s not mass-produced. It’s personal—grown by smallholder farmers who might only have a handful of trees, tucked between other crops on steep terraces. This lot comes from Sindhupalchowk, where farmers work closely with the land, shaped by tradition, biodiversity, and the crisp Himalayan air.
Nirvana is made from Bourbon and Caturra varieties, handpicked when perfectly ripe and processed using the washed method. After harvest, the beans are sun-dried on raised beds—a slow, careful step that preserves their clean, balanced profile.
We source this coffee through Himalaya Coffee Company, a Nepali-led team working with over 750 farmers across multiple growing regions. Their focus on traceability, fair pricing, and farmer education makes a real difference—not just for the land, but for the families behind every harvest.
At Dafé, we roast Nirvana to a medium-plus level. That brings out depth and body, while letting the origin speak for itself. You’ll taste chocolate and roasted nuts, rounded off with soft caramel sweetness. It’s smooth. It’s rich. And it’s distinctly Nepali.
Brew it how you like. Enjoy it when you can. Nirvana is a reminder that something quiet and powerful is growing in the hills of Nepal—and you can taste it in every cup.
At Dafé, we source only the finest specialty-grade beans, selected for their exceptional flavor, rich aroma, and consistent quality. These beans represent the very best in coffee, and every cup we serve reflects our dedication to craftsmanship, care, and a truly memorable coffee experience.
